thanks. i split the type to make it look like it was slashed with a blade. sharp objects and our music mix. hehe. and i selected a font that was feminine to give it a fragile aura.

hey insomniac, the heart with the wings looks familiar. hahhaa! i liked the design but the text, its kinda disturbing, haha. i thought you might have tried some rugged cutting or splitting of the text. but neway, looks good to me. my 8! =D

i agree with annarki, the design is cool, looks more cooler if that would be printed on a black plain t-shirt, but the style you made on the text just don't impress me, it would be better if you didn't slice it at all, but all in all it still looks good

i didn't want the text to look too cliche. i am giving some thought on changing it though... maybe when i get off my lazy ass. hehe. i don't want it too have that grungy look...it's been way overused in the rock industry. maybe something more subtle. like the PARAMORE logo. www.paramore.net

I don't know about the others, but I think the slash through the words is awesome; executed in a unique manner. I think the slash really accented what the band was supposed to be like.

Lol, paramore. Hehe don't see many logos like that anymore.

P.S. I'm experimenting with Illustrator, and can't seem to fingure out how you did the border of this. Can you give a few BROAD general tips? Thanks. (Half the fun is in figuring it out )

i just made randon whirls with the pen. after i've determined the shape of the lines, i picked a calligraphy brush to give it a tapered look. fter i got what i liked, i had to make objects out of the swirls so i could make copies because the brush stroke changes when you flip it.

Ah, of course. Stroke the path.... Hehe I was doing it the hard way and making a path, scaling it down to 95%, and then use live paint. Your way is much less time consuming and more effective. Thanks alot!

I like all your work a lot. I've read the comment and, about the type, i think maybe you culd put a little glow to show it is a blade cut.
